Historic Green Vault
Opening hours: Daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
except Tuesdays, Final admission 6 p.m.

Guided tours are not possible in the Historic Green Vault. Visitors will therefore receive an audio-guide for their tour of the treasure chamber.

Admission is gained only with a time ticket for the Historic Green Vault. No other tickets or ticket combinations will be honoured, e.g. the annual or one-day ticket of the Dresden State Art Collections, the Dresden-City or Dresden-Regio-Card, the Deutsche Bahn “KunstTicket,” museum vouchers, travel agency vouchers, etc.

Advance Sale Procedures
Only holders of time tickets will be admitted to the Historic Green Vault Treasure Chamber. Time tickets can be purchased in advance by the following means:

Ticket bookings through advance sales are binding. Payment must be made immediately or transferred within five days. Reservations are not possible and bookings cannot be revoked.

For reasons of capacity and in order to make your visit to the Historic Green Vault as pleasant as possible – e.g. to avoid long queues – a maximum of 120 persons can visit the treasure chamber per hour. 

No admission will be granted past the time slot indicated on the ticket.

Sixty percent of the tickets are available through advance sales (see Advance Sale Procedures above). The remaining forty percent are available at the cashier’s desk of the Royal Palace - five tickets per person - on the day of visiting.

Cloakroom
Visitors are required to leave their outdoor garments as well as bags, knapsacks, etc. in the cloakroom.

Security
Visitors will be admitted through a security / micro-climate gate.

Time Slots
Please note that the time slot indicated on the admission ticket will be strictly adhered to. It is recommended that visitors arrive at the cloakroom in advance of their time slot. No admission will be granted past the time slot indicated.

Cameras / Mobile Phones
The use of cameras and mobile phones is prohibited throughout the exhibition area.

Wheelchair Access
The entrance is designed for wheelchair access.
